C-DAC

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC), is a Scientific Society of the Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Government of India. C-DAC's areas of expertise range from R&D work in Foundation Technologies to Product Development, IP Generation, Technology Transfer and Deployment of Solutions in various sectors directly or through partnership model. Primary Thematic or Thrust Areas addressed by C-DAC are: High Performance Computing and Grid Computing; Language Computing & Speech Processing; Computer Science & Software Technologies including Free & Open Source Software; Professional Electronics including VLSI & Embedded Systems; Cyber-Security and Cyber Forensics; Health Informatics; & Education and Training. The R&D Work, resultant products, solutions systems and services are deployed in a variety of sectors in Government, Industry, Enterprises and Public. In addition, Education & Training Programmes focused on high and specialized technical courses and finishing school type modules of relevance to industry.
